Hi,
I am a very big guy that is approx. 6'5'' and weigh 325 pounds, we have a ladder policy that only allows a person to climb a ladder that is 280 pounds or less, I have been put on a ladder restriction so I can't climb any ladders. I know for a fact that they make a severe duty ladder that has a capacity of 350 pounds.....I offered to provide this tool to comply with my work duties and they still restricted me from climbing any ladders. Do I have any ground to stand on if I offer to provide this tool to comply with my duties? Is there a dicrimination policy for this?

You can offer - they have no obligation to agree.

Weight is not a protected characteristic under Federal law or in any state except Michigan, so discrimination laws do not apply.
