what is the statue of limitations in reporting a work related injury in nebraska? can employers just put you on a personal leave and take away your benefits and treat you as if you quit? such as cutting off your direct deposit, mailing your so called last check to you, charging you for recovery fees of a company vehicle that you were forced out of by their decision. and being told that it was to cover expenses of another employee to recover that vehicle. when in orientation we had to sign a statement that allowed the company to charge if a vehicle is abandoned only. and now i am being told that all drivers are charged regardless. and was told that i cannot file workmans comp. fact: a doctors appt was set by me before scheduled time off had occured for routine check up due to a preexisting condition that has no affect in this matter and it was purely coincidental that i sustained an injury and i was already being routed home for time off for this. the company took it upon themselves to garnish my wages and cause a financial hardship. i have not quit and am seeking some advice to pursue a lawsuit. the more you tell this company the more they find excuses for themselves to jusify their actions. this is not the first, for it is routine for them to jack with your wages to benefit them. this company is in nebraska
