If I resign from my job in Kentucky, is my employer required to give me my unused vacation time that I have earned?

Vested time that you have earned, yes, they have to pay you. They are not required to pay out whatever time you would have earned for the balance of the year.

I just want more clarification on this. I resigned from my job, my benefits showed that I have 2 weeks of vacation. When I asked if I was going to be paid for those two weeks I was told that I was only eligable for the time I have worked so far this year. Is this correct?

That is perfectly allowable. You've only earned proportionate to what you've worked.
