My father is currently at a nursing home where they refuse to pay overtime. They issue two checks when he is over 40 hours. Trouble is - when they issue 2 checks they don't have the stub to the 2nd one. So we have no proof of 2 checks and we did not document the dates. What to do?

Kentucky law only requires that you receive a statement of deductions and only if the employer has more than 10 employees. The law does not require the statement include gross pay information. However, deductions include taxes, so I would contact the state Dept. of Labor and file a complaint that you are not receiving the proper statements.
