Was unable to find an answer to this question: I was supposed to move into a house next may with four other girls and my boyfriend, it has become apparant that the girls do not wish my boyfriend to live there, though we all signed a lease a month ago. They seem to want me to stay in the hopes of keeping their rent rates stable but if they are forcing him to go I want to go as well.

In this situation, disregarding any possibility the female roommates would allow an amicable split, what type of stances may the future landlord take
(i.e. will our security deposit be lost/ect.?)
and what rights do i have?

Not sure what to tell you- review lease to see about what happens if you break it and if there is a joint and several liability clause. I think you should consult an attorney because this can be tricky because you may have the co-tenants and landlord both coming after you.
