I have 3 kids from a previous marraige and my ex remarried and moved back here from CA. I really do not like the things that go on around their house and I know that what goes on there I have no sayso but my oldest daughter informed me last nite that this woman (step mom) is letting them drink beer!!! My oldest daughter is only 11. I have told her that drinking at her age is illegal and she seems to be scared by that. The children are not doing their homework like they are supposed to and their grades are falling. They let them watch scary movies such as The Chucky movies (the new one can't remember the name) and my 7 year old was scared for a week. THey are sending them to school with no lunch and no money to buy lunch stating that there is money in their account when there is not . I want to scream!!!

What can I do????

Who has custody, and what is thier visitation schedule? I'm just asking because you say thier homework isn't being done and they're being sent to school w/o lunch money, etc., which leads me to think the father may have custody since the kids are there often on school nights? Your actions could/will be different based on who has custody.

Custody was set in the separation papers stating we have joint custody, I had Primary custody of the two oldest and he had primary of the youngest. That was on 2001 and the divorce papers state that custody was to be determined in a seperate order, then he moved and I had papers drawn stating the kids could not live outside of NC but these were never signed by a judge. Since he has been here (JAN 2006) we agreed verbally that we would have shared custody, there from Wed. to Wed. and Here Wed. to Wed. and that was hard on the kids and us as far as the exchange and schoolwork so we changed it Mon. to Mon. I am afraid to take this to court, this is a very manipulative man with alot more money than I have but at this point I am not sure if I have any other choice?!?!?
