I am a salaried employee and have been told by my employer that I must clock in when I arrive in the morning, clock out for a 30 min. lunch and clock out when I leave. It does not matter if I work 20 hours or 60 hours that week, I still get paid the same so I don't understand why I am required to clock in/out (especially for lunch)? Is there a law requiring this kind of non-sense in the state of GA? Thanks.

Contrary to popular belief, exempt employees can be required to clock in and out.

Where can I find the law requiring this?

It's not that there is a law saying exempt employees can be required to clock in and out; it's that there isn't a law saying they can't be so required.
