Questions regarding MA Maternity Laws.

I have a few questions regarding being Pregnant and Maternity Laws!

I am 2 months pregnant and I maybe getting a new job.

1.) New Health Insurance will cover me correct? pre-existing conditions do not apply with pregnant women?

2.) How does Short Term Disability work with a new position? Would I still be eligible because I have a pre-existing condition?

2.) How does Short Term Disability work with a new position? Would I still be eligible because I have a pre-existing condition? That's something you need to discuss with your employer. Each STD Plan an employer offers has unique provisions. For one thing, we don't even know when you first become eligible for coverage. Having a pre-existing condition (especially pregnancy) won't rule you out for coverage though.
