I will be resigning from my sales rep position after working for this CT company for over 5 years. I have been paid straight commissions with a $500 irreconcilable draw. I am paid only when the client pays. I was required to sign a waiver of commissions at the time of hire. This allows the company to pay commissions only while the rep remains employeed. I have never been below the draw in all these years and feel these commissions are already earned and due me. I probably have $35,000+ in commissions outstanding that I will lose when I resign. Do I have recourse?

You will have to show the waiver you signed, plus any other relevant documentation, to a local attorney. We cannot comment on the enforceability of a document we have not read.
