Hi guess, yesterday I said I had a 24 hour pass, well in the first
few minutes, I was bumped off, and when I went to resign up, I was my
user name didn't work. I have emailed them and asked for an
extension. It will probably be Monday before I hear from them, but as
soon as I do, I will keep all names and look them up. I will let you
all know when I can access again.

Just to clarify, I have to have the current name of the person that
you are looking for. In other words, amended name of adoptee, or
birth parent's name. (Maiden is a possibility.) The more info...DOB
or approx. age, last known location can help. This is not a database
that allows me to access OBC or other such documents, this is for
those who have a name, but cannot find a person.

Fry Daddy on her body. Her Mom, Deena, pulled her out of her walker

body. They are going to amputate at least 3 fingers on one hand and
will have to graft skin from her Mom and Dad to help repair her. She
is in critical condition and her lungs have filled with water. They
don`t know if she will live or not. They say the next few days will
decide. They live in Florence, Texas and have two other children. THEY
NEED AS MANY PRAYERS AS THEY CAN GET. Will you please forward this to

Hi Everyone,

The day is finally here. I'm leaving in the very early morning to the
SF
airport where I will fly to Mexico city to meet my birth family. I met
my
bmom already last June in Aruba. She lives in Mexico with my brother
and all
her side of the family. My birth half sister will be there with her
finance.
They live in Holland and I've wanted to meet her ever since I found
out
about her in February. It will be a big family reunion. I'm so glad
that
most of them speak English. My husband and two children will be going
also.
I will let you all know how the trip goes.

I'm also meeting my birth father for the first time in 34 years. I
wish you
all the best of luck in finding your birth families.

this happened in 2001. last update on this child was from her
grandmother
in august 2003. the little girl had surgery to repair damage.

<From Grandma: I just want to report she came through it fine.
The
surgeons did two Z's on her arm to let it grow, as there was a large
accumulation
of scar tissue. Deana has to take her back in two weeks to get the
stitches
out, this will be on her 3rd birthday. Delaney woke up, drank some
sprite and
then asked for some chicken! She is such a trooper, thank you for
your
prayers!

Chris, I have a friend thats a CI(confidential intermediary) 7 the law
does take affect on 1-1-2004, BUT, the only way you can get the files
is to hire a CI (which is VERY COSTLY) & even then , only she is
allowed to see the papers which I think is VERY UNFAIR!!

Yes this is true, I am searching for my birth mother and I was
adopted in Chicago also. As of Jan 2004, you can petition the court to
unseal your sealed adoption file for any reason whatsoever, not just a
medical necessity like it is now. The was passed by the legislative in
the Illinois Supreme Court about a month ago. You did here correct.
Thats why I am waiting until Jan to file my Petition.

Subject: Illinois Adoption Records info.

As of Jan 1, 2004 not only will adult adopted persons,
and adopted parents on behalf
of minor adopted children, be able to petition the
court, but also adult children of a deceased
adopted person, adult siblings of a adopted person
if the birthparent is deceased , birth parents,
and adult siblings of a deceased birth parent
(otherwise aunts & uncles of
the adopted person).
All of these people will now be able to register
with the Illinois
Adoption Registry for a match,
or will be able to petition the court for
appointment of a CI. As of July
2003 there is no longer a court
petition fee but the service still remains. And
Judges no longer can deny
a petition as it is part of the law.

Daughter & I have been searching for nearky 15 yrs now & only new info
we have is that there is no record of an Irma Yates being born in
Illinois. So, this is either a married name or she was from another
state.

Dept. of Family Services for Pa. callsand tells the mother they will be coming to inspect the home(mansion). 5 of these children have died in the past 3 yrs. while inthe care of these adoptive parents. They are cremated and theremains put in shoeboxes and put on the mothers closet shelf totorment and threaten the younger children with. Birth name raymond patrick walsh. I did the US search sent out over
200 letters no luck, I am in the ISRR. I also registered with new york
state, and received a letter saying my son was born and adopted in
NYS. I also found him in the birth index, so now I have his OBC#. I

Here is my roll call.
Name Brenda Kaminski, Bname Brenda Roy. Was searching for bsis
dob:08/15/63 in Sacramento, Ca.bname Susan Lynn Roy. Bmommaiden.
Duckworth,Bdad Roy. I found my sis last November and have contact
through snail mail and phone as she is in Ca. and I am in Ohio.I was
given the amended name by a seach angel and then with the help of lots
of Angels was given an address. I wrote a letter and then waited. 3
weeks later her adopted mom called me to tell me I had the right
person and spent an hour on the phone with me. She is a wonderfull
woman. Then she gave me my sisters phone number and said call her she
is waiting. We talked for over 2 hours (lost track of time lol so it
may have been alot longer) since then her a mom and me have also kept
in touch. She says my room is waiting for me at her house lol.So
someday I pray I will get to go there and I know I will. Hoping for
next year. It has been amazing to say the least.
Now I sit here and read all the post and help when I can.
I am a mod but don't do near the work here the others do.
I live in the Dayton Ohio area if anyone needs help here and
also can do phone calls long distance or local. Am learning lots of
new things every day to make me a better search angel (hopefully) Also
can get address and sometimes phone number if you have name and last
known state.
So lady's and gents put me to work.

where you are writing to, and why there are so many emails that come.
IF
you have a yahoo profile, you can access this site. IF you don't, it
will
tell you how to set one up.

it,
and you can change to daily digest (25 emails in one) or to no email
or to
specail notices only. We ask that you go to special notices only,

than no mail, so that IF there is any announcement you need to receive
from the owner/mods, you will get it.

You can also leave the group from this site if you need to. IF YOU
don't
want to do this on your own, a nice request to go to digest will
enable
one of us owner/mods to do this for you, but at the moment, there are
so
many other things going on that it would be better for all of you to
know
you CAN do this all yourself, and where, and how.

NOW, if you look at that home page, ON THE LEFT is a column with
CHAT.. we
don't use that chat. We use the one on the MSN sister group, as any on
web
tv, including Bernice, our owner, cannot use yahoo chat rooms.
