i have been having a problem that has been going on in my department for some time now. my time, as well as others in my department at my workplace, have mysteriously dissappeared several different times. they have replaced my time with a 40 hour work week, problem is my overtime is now gone. i would have chaulked it up to a computer error, but only members of my department were targeted it seems, again, their overtime gone as well. my supervisor tried to speak to the general manger of my workplace and was told it was company policy anyway that overtime had to be approved. it states in our company handbook, which we are required to read and sign each year, that overtime has to be by our supervisor in advance. this is the reason my supervisor went to the manger in the first place to inform him of this error. to end this tale, my overtime for the past 2 weeks has been erased and even when my supervisor tries to help me with this, he is shot down. and it was only members of my department this has been happening to and all of us have had some overtime. my question is, after this long story, can these people delete my hours and get away with it? sorry for any spelling errors, typing fast and agitated.
