I have been divorced 6 years now. I have been paying my support and my portion of out of pocket medical each month. The X is now passing on recpts. for educational items such as the cost of books, SAT reg., and app cost to a local collage. I live in North Carolina as do my, the X and my boys also live in NC. Is this required in addition to my support and medical,or is this considered in my support.

In one word- NO.
You do not have to pay for anything that is not specified in the court order. I may be wrong, but I believe that NC is a state that CANNOT order a NCP (or a CP for that matter) to pay for any college related costs.
How old is the child who is planning on going to college? You need to file to modify CS when the oldest becomes 18, unless your CS order specifies a certain amount per child, ceasing at time of emancipation.

if you want to voluntarily help with those things thats good, but whatever your current child support is , thats all you pay.

I live in NC and child support is all you are required to pay. If I am not mistaken you don't even have to pay part of medical. (not sure) My x never paid a cent of medical for my 3 kids and I was lucky when he paid some child support. I believe that you are being conned by her. Does she work??

That is what child support is for. If it were me I'd simply tell her, thank you for the itemization of what your spending child support on, it's nice to know its being spent wisely - and remind her that the child support you pay every month is the money you pay to her for these expenses. Medical is often separated from child support and often the parents split those costs 50/50, but all other "expenses" are what child support is for.
