I work in ct for a public bus service which states that the company doesnt have to give a meal break . becouse we fall under diferent laws . which they state we can work up to 12 hrs befor given a break ......

Is there a law ther requires them to give us an empolyees handbook which should state things like our Vacation , mael break , raises etc and how can i get a copy of the contract with the companys involve?////?/
