I hid in my home.. I had a terrible image of myself..I would go out and think everyone was staring at me..
But I walked down hill (near my home) and asked for help..And a woman helped me.. I read a letter to my son and I saw her cry..We connected.. Powerful stuff..

We rush our kids.... We tell them to hurry up and learn this or learnthat.. We do not give them the time they need to do it themselves..Progress at their speed.. not someone else's..IMO the same applies here..

Not always true. James gets therapy twice a week. If he wasn't pushed, he
would not be doing so well. If we (parents) push em to hard, chances are, they

It was the best day of my life..
I finally connected with someone.We rush our kids.... We tell them to hurry up and learn this or learnthat..
