Hello, I am a full-time salaried employee at a marketing agency in Colorado. My employer does not give us paid time off for national holidays, such as President's Day. If I am required to work on a National holiday, should I be getting paid time and a half?

Thanks.

The only workers who are guaranteed paid federal holidays are working for the federal government. There is no law that requires private employers to observe federal holidays and pay employees for them if they do. Some employers may wish to incentivize employees to work on holidays with extra pay, but it's not required. You would only be entitled to overtime for working on a holiday if you are a non-exempt employee and working on the day causes you to go above 40 hours for the week.
