Does anyone know where I can find this information? I am looking for information on if a company can backpunch you for the benefit of making it easier to calculate your time to the 1/10 minute. For example: If you punch in at 7:01am and the companies software changes your time forward to 7:06am. They give the reason that their system only uses 6 minute (1/10th hour) calculations. On the other end the system backpunches you. Example: punch out at 3:29pm and the software changes your time to 3:24pm.

Any help would be great.

I don't think so. I don't remember ever seeing anything. Federal law allows employers to round off times like that.

According to federal regulations, the rounding must be consistent. It cannot always be done to the benefit of the employer, which is what appears to be happening in the example you cite.
