While waiting for my long term disability determination, I applied for unemployment. I was denied due to my unavailability to work. Recently I received a denial letter from disability. I then contacted unemployment to try to re-open my claim. I was told that due to my circumstances I would need to provide a verbal statement of my situation and ability to now work. I explained that my basis for the statement was my denial letter from the disability Ins. Co., not a doctor’s release statement because I could not afford to go to my doctor. They said that a judicator would review my statement and either deny or approve my claim.

What are my chances? :(
