I am wondering. If i got injured on the job and had to have surgery to repair the damage that was done. and I will be out of work for about 2 months. what should my pay scale be? Am I entiled to my full wages since I have gone past the 3 day waiting period? or am I entiled to 2/3's of my normal rate in pay? the reason why I ask. is that in the beginning I was aware of the reduction of wages until they recieved my wage verification. I have been told recently that they did get the verification and sent me a check for the ballance. when I totaled the value of what was sent and divided it by hours I get less the 2/3's of my normal pay. the percentage is actually .58333% of my normal pay. Is this right? I can't live off of this amount. please if anyone knows Ct workman's comp laws . please let me know what I should be getting and what are my choices from here.

I am not familiar with CT WC laws, but I did find this that states a 75% (of average weekly wage) maximum benefit.

I do know that many states also set a dollar maximum per week.

You can email the division from this link:
