Hi i am new to this but i am a single mum who has gone through hell with my son over the last 2 years with cancer and the father was no where to be seen and now with all this new law and power to the dads he is fighting for access and i dont think this is fair seeing has he has not been around for the last 3 years we are fighting it out in court now but i am after some tips from other mothers who have gone through the court prosses that may be able to help me keep the dad at bay. please help :( :mad: (england)

Not sure how they do things in England but in America there are some of us who believe in giving someone a second (sometimes nurmerous chances)chance to be a parent for the better of the child. Not to mention the fact there is a parent who is finally willing to step up to the plate and be a parent.... I don't care if the child was 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months if there is a parent willing to be involved now, it can only be a good thing for the child.

Maybe one our vindictive posters will be sure to tell you how to get your wish... sorry for you that I'm not one of them.
