I'm From Ca, I Would Like To Know If Possible Can An Employer Just Pay You Up To Your Scheduled Time? For Example Your Scheduled Time Is 2:00 P.m. To 7:00 P.m. And You Punch Out At 7:20 Or 7:30 Or More, And Still Working (helping Customers). Also Asking For A Copy Of Our Timecards, (which He Refused) And Also If I Worked Over 8 Hrs In One Day Let's Say 9 Hours, And He Says To Come In The Next Day 1 Hour Later, Schedule Being 8 To 5 , But Don't Have To Be There Til 9, But Getting Paid For Being There At 8. And Not Getting The 1 Hour Overtime Pay. He Does This Every Week With Our Maintenance Guys Which I Feel Is Not Correct. I Spoke With An Ex-manager And She Stated He Had Her Only Pay Us Up To Our Scheduled Time. This Has Been Going On Since I Started About 4 Yrs Ago. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Sandy

Your employer must pay you for the time you actually work. The employer can round times up/down so long as it is done fairly, but that does not look like what is happening here.

Overtime is due after 8 hours in a day. The law is fairly clear, but many people don't follow it. It appears that your employer is one of them.

Sandy, please make it easier for us to help you and use standard capitalization and punctuation (i.e. do not capitalize every word). The way you have posted makes it very hard to read your post.
