Hello all I'm new here but have a question a good friend of mine is splitting up with a guy she has been/lived with for 6 years they have kids and now he is trying to kick her and the kids out of the house. The house is in his name but was purchased during the relationship. What kind of ground does she stand on for not getting kicked out on the street with her 3 kids?

He will have to serve her with an eviction notice for a "constructive " eviction . Then she can file an objection to the eviction, which will bring it into court before a judge. Doing this will delay the eviction enough to give her time to find another place and file whatever papers she needs to for her kids.

Your friend needs to file for custody/CS etc. if she hasn't already done so.
