Employer required training, pays for training and mileage. Doesn't paid for travel time from office to place where training takes place nor do they paid for the time during the training. Employees are non-exempt. Is this legal in Missouri?

Generally speaking, yes, commute time is not compensable. However, is the training local, within driving distance, etc.?

Training is usually generally 1 to 1 1/2 hours away from the office and they will schedule it so it is on your day off. One person who is also non-exempt goes to meetings and training, but it is always on that person's regular work day and is paid for the time at the meeting/training plus travel time if they are the one driving. The only difference between that person and the rest of the employees, they have regular schedule Monday thru Friday. The other do not have a schedule set in stone, but they work a 36 to 40 hour week.
