I was fired 2 days before my 6mth probation was up. my area manager accused me of working unsafe and not being proficient. In the electrical field to be accussed of working unsafe is career suicide. he roode with me once a mnth during my probation. each time he rode with me I would ask him if it was anything I was not doing or anything I could do better. each time his reply was the same" you are doing a good job". Once terminated I was told I did something unsafe, when I asked what I was told he did not want to get into it. the company has a close call nearmis policy which states you are responsible for reporting all near misses anonymously on company email to help others who may be working unsafe. this did not happen. I filed for unemployment and was told that i had been given 3 written warnings and numerous verbal warnings. I had never been written up. the dates he gave were a lie. one of the dates we were in a company meeting all day. he was leding a presentation and we only spoke breifly. I also had an evaluation one mth before, and the evaluation was good. WHAT CAN I DO??

You can appeal the decision. In the appeal, I would request the employer present any documents showing warnings, etc. which you signed.
BTW, "wrongful termination" has a legal definition, and this situation does not meet it. And wrongfully terminated or not has no relationship to whether or not you get unemployment insurance benefits. As a colleague of mine says, the great majority of UI recipients were NOT victims of "wrongful termination".
To add to Patty's accurate response, a wrongful termination means that there is a specific law which was violated by terming you; in other words, a law that says, in effect, "You can't fire an employee because he.....".

I don't want UI benefits. I want them to stop making false claims that would hender my career. There aren't any written warnings with my signature. I believe he is covering his tracks, justifying my termination. I can accept if he didn't think I fit with the company or was not pleased with my performance but the unafe act and written warnings are LIES. If not wrongful termination what about defamation of character. These lies are affecting my career.
As I said in your duplicate post, you are going to have to explain how his making what you term as false statements to the UI board is hindering your career. No prospective employer has access to what he says to the UI office.
