Washington state - Where can i find the law(s) that describe salary pay, minimum rates, general requirements, when salary pay can be applied, and when it can not?

I am of the understanding that if an employee is paid salary and becomes sick for a day, he/she sould still recieve their regular paycheck. Is this correct?

In most cases, yes. However, there are exceptions.

For the record, salaried is only a pay method. What matters is not how you are paid, but whether you are exempt or non-exempt.

Wonderful! I found a comprehensive FAW which answered all my questions. I appreciate the quick responses! If useful for anyone else, the link is: http://www.lni.wa.gov/WorkplaceRights/files/policies/esa91.pdf
