Is there any TX law that allows an employer to force you to work "mandantory overtime", even if they do pay you OT?
My employer requires 10 hrs required OT each week, in addition to the regular 40 hrs.

Ok, such as what industries? Loan Servicing?? :confused:

Sorry, loan servicing is not one of those industries.

My best friend works for a loan servicing company, and things have been a bit slow for now, but when she does work overtime, she has to work alot of it.

It really comes down to this: you can either stay, and learn to reap the benefits of OT, or find another job with fewer demands.

The industries that limit or prohibit mandatory overtime are ones in which there is a public safety factor - truck driver, airline pilot, in some states nursing. Things like that.
