When a large hoist (6000 lbs max) is in place at a leased garage, can liability be imputed onto a landlord when an employer has failed to post warnings, conduct maintenence, inspections, and give proper training?

Thanks in advance,

jb

Yes, but the company would bear the burden of dealing with OSHA.

Anytime you own property, there is liability.

I would suggest this question be posted on a Landlord-Tenant forum, or some other real estate forum.

It really has nothing to do with labor law.
