I am a private investigator residing in CA and am required to drive to diff. locations every day to conduct surveillance in worker compensation cases. I am paid over time for anything over 8 reg hours per day and then have my drive time paid at my regular rate. The drive time is never counted as overtime.
I suspect that the drive time can not be counted as overtime but am hoping someone knows for sure.
My last employer is refusing to pay me for the last month of work and I am looking for any way to put his feet to the fire.
