pregnantgirl 01-25-2006, 06:59 AM My maternity leave is considered short term disabilty by our company standards. We have under 50 employees so the FMLA doesn't qualify. I have been told by my company that MA does not have any policies on short term disablility. Can someone please help? Thanks cbg 01-25-2006, 07:05 AM MA does not have a state disability plan. Whoever told you that is correct. Does your employer offer one? The fact that they do not qualify for FMLA does not mean they don't offer STD - they're an entirely different benefit. pregnantgirl 01-30-2006, 10:18 AM I only work part time, so STD doesn't apply to me via the company rules.
