I have been employed by a company in sc for 6.5 years. I have been unhappy for the last 6 months. We have had a change in management that has been working against me and some other employees. Before the change i averaged about 50 hours a week. Now i get about 25 hours a week, which has changed my lifestyle substantially. The change in my hours is a result of discrimination that i'm experiencing. I don't know how to classify the discrimination. My manager just doesn't like me for no reason at all. We have had some brand new employees, of the managements same race, that have been treated extra nice. He has even told some of these employees that he doesn't give me the hours i need because he wants me to quit. There are plenty of other employees that get 40+ hours that i have always outperformed. I have went up the whole chain of command complaining with no results in return. And I continue to get the same treatment. Is this against the law? What should I do?

Unless the "discrimination" is based on a legally protected characteristic, such as race, gender, age, ethnic origin, religion, etc., the discrimination is not illegal. If you feel you have been treated differently BECAUSE of your race, you can contact the federal EEOC or your state's human rights commission.
