I work as a fast food restaurant shift manager in Indiana. I was recently given a "raise" from $8 an hour to $72 a day. One of the requirements of my salary is that I work a 50 hour week. I receive 2 days off. Am I exempt from being paid for my overtime, like they say I am? Because I read somewhere that I have to make a minimum of $455 a week in Indiana. Please reply with whatever help possible. Thanks.

In order to qualify as exempt, you have to make $455 per week in all 50 states. That's a Federal law, not a state law.

Does this mean that I can file a claim for back overtime pay?

Probably. Call the state DOL and see what they say.
