My employer is attempting to enhance some areas of the company; however, it seems to be at the employee's expense. I am an RN in a Homehealth company. We furnish our own auto insurance (which you have to have anyway) They require us to carry malpractice insurance (mandatory), which is wise. Now they are requiring us to furnish our own Motor Vehicle Report, and can be fired if we have an accident in a year. It has to be done yearly and at our own expense. We were told this was to help the worker's comp rates decrease. It cost $14 in Mississippi and much less in other states. Is this legal?

I'm not sure if you're asking whether it's legal for them to ask you to provide a copy of your Motor Vehicle report or if it's legal for them to fire you if you have an accident, but the answer to both questions is yes, it is.
