i work as an electrical wire person..very similar to an electrician. i have recently started a contracting assignment for a company I has never worked with before...in the past with a work week typically going from mon-fri if i worked on a sunday I recieved double-time for that day..however this company says they only pay time and a half ..my current work week is as follows: mon-fri 10 hours, saturday a str8 8(no lunch) and sunday a str8 8 also..I may be mistaken but I thought i read somewhere that in a manufacturing enviroment it was automatic double time on sundays....true or false???

False. Double time for working Sunday is not required by law in any industry or any state.
