I applied for work with the major trash hauler here in MS. I was hired in November of 05, I just received my W2 form in the mail from a temp agency out of LA. but I have never received payment for the one day I worked and all they keep saying is "we will look into it"..What should I do to receive my pay for the one day of work back in November of 05?

If the employer refuses to handle it, file a claim for unpaid wages with the state Dept. of Labor in which you performed the work. How long has it been since you talked to the company?

I spoke to them again today and received the same response as always,"we are looking into it" I understand it is'nt much money less then $150 but they have reported the income to the IRS without sending me a check...

Then go ahead an file a complaint with the state DOL.
