Hi, I'm in Peoria, AZ (phx) and am charged by the police officers. My fiancee did not want me charged. After leaving a nightclub and having a few drinks on New Years, we were arguing and I called a friend to stay the night. He took away my phone, keys, 2-way (he thought I was going to drive). I bit him because he would not give me my stuff back. He called the cops to calm the situation, not knowing that they would arrest me. They took pictures of the bite marks on his arm and I had the cop take pictures of the bruise on me as well (when he was keeping me from my stuff). I told the cop I did NOT try to leave since the cop told me he would be arrested for kidnapping. (no point in both of us going to jail over something retarded) He testified on my behalf at the bail hearing and I went home with him- he told the judge I was not a threat and that it was a big misunderstanding. HE asked repeatedly to have the charges dropped but I am set for a pretrial hearing at the end of the month. I have the phone records and my friend is willing to submit a statement that the phone went dead (he hung up the phone)- what will likely happen? I do not want him charged with kidnapping and we both want the charges dismissed on my behalf. Any help would be great.

Get a good attorney and do not call the police in the future if it is just a misunderstanding.
