Im really not sure if this is where I need to post at but I have some serious concerns! I work at a daycare here in Kentucky and I know there are a lot of regulations that a daycare has to go by... and the biggest one of course is the ratio of kids to workers. I am very concerned because the classes I am in are always over the ratio. There are never enough workers for the number of children we have and yet nothing is done about it. The owner of the daycare is hardly ever there and she has no darn clue how to run a day care if you ask me!!! She rides around in her nice Yukon all day long while people like me who are trying to make a living with $5.15 an hour have concerns such as this. The main reason Im concerned is for the kids. They deserve to have the attentions they need for many reasons and its sad enough they have to even come to day care and not be able to be with their families! If anyone knows anything please let me know how I can report the daycare and get something done about it

State Dept. of Human Services or similar? I do know that daycare facilities must be licensed and are regulated.
