this is in regards to Indiana laws. I have a neice (who does not access to a computer),who does not receive support from the father of their two children. They were never married. He now lives in Michigan. My neice cannot find out where he works or if he works. Is there any way she can file with the social security office and receive taxes paid from state and or federal? Thanks in advance for advice.

Is there an existing court order for him to pay CS?

If she's working with child support enforcement then she should contact them about at the least getting his tax check to confirm if he is working. Now, the time has passed for that to be possible this coming year but it should be done in the future.

Case workers will be the first to tell you that basically SHE has to find out if and where he's working or at the very least an address or SOME way to have him served.

What county does she live in and is that the same county the order is out of?
