My ex husband has a court date set in January with the attorney general lawyer for our area.I have had little success in speaking with the attorney, I know my ex has an arrearage, but was wondering how I would go about getting her medical bills paid since he dropped her insurance without my knowledge and I have had to pay out of pocket.
I also have an ex husband whom lives in Missouri and my case with the attoney general has been complicated since he is out of state...I was recieving payments that they were garnishing from some sort of disability claim, which took over 4 years to start collecting even that, now it has stopped and they say this case is in the enforcement process........again......in the 14 years he owed child support, I only recieved payments for 14 months, how do I go about dealing with the Missouri attorney general or even having a court hearing for criminal non support. I live in grayson county, texas...8 years ago I went to the county attorney in Grayson county trying to file a criminal non support order and was refused any help in prosecuting any case against my first husband. I am wits end dealing with child support orders My first marriage was for 7 years and my second for 13, both occurred in Texas and we resided in Texas in Grayson County....any advice on eith support case would be very much appreciated.

If you are represented by the state, consult the prosecutor handling your cases. That aside, if they are not representing you, then you should see about them taking your cases. IF the local folks refuse your case, I suggest taking it up with the state attorney general or state prosecuting attorney's office and/or child support division. Do not let folks at the local level deter you.
