child support after remarriage

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good morning,
I live in Florida. My ex-wife is custodial parent of our two daughters, ages 18 and 14. I am planning on re-marrying. Is it possible in the state of Florida for her to exact an increase in my child support payments after I remarry based upon the income of my new spouse?
Thank you for your time.
John

No, your new spouses income will have nothing to do with the equation. Congratulations!

Is the court order originally from Fl? If so, then if your 18 yr old has graduated from HS a modification will need to be done, your CS will go down because of the eldest child emancipating. And no, your new spouse's income isn't considered in CS.
