One of my freinds was fired from her job as a flight attendant. They gave her her last pay check but she is owed 1500.00 in per diem for paying for meals and hotels (was not a major airline) Does she have any rights to get this money she had to pay out of her pocket. I have searched everywhere and I am not sure if per diem is considered wages???? Help

Per diem is not considered "wages", but she can still get the money from her employer. If the employer does not pay it, she can take the case to the labor commissioner or sue for it in court.
