For the past two years I have been able to work from home when I have needed to be here to care for a disabled child. Our new controller has raised the issue of not being able "certify" the ergonomics of my work station at home.
Has there been any legislation or court rulings in regards to this topic?
The descision to cease telecommuting is bad for the company and bad for me.
Truth is, we don't have good ergonomics in the office. Wouldn't this be the place to start if they are all of a sudden worried about liability?
This guys inventing problems that did not previously exist for the company. Fixing things that are not broken.
