I'm in Washington State and need to know if my suppervisor can use my kids sicktime against me on my annual review?
I havnt been sick from work myself - in fact have worked through being sick and covered for others when they were sick --but I have missed 10 hours of work because my son was sick with Bronchitis and they dont let sick kids go to school---???--my direct suppervisor is not sympathetic of this and rudely told me that the only issue that will be brought up in my review is the fact that "I need a better back up plan for when my kids are sick."
I had another supervisor(not my department) tell me that she was out of line saying that---what are my rights as a mom who works?--I would like to know before my review so that I can calmly say---hey--my kids sickness' are out of my control or whatever....
thanks

Here is a good explanation of the Washington Family Care Act.

Question #5 appears to address your situation. However, generally speaking, the term "health condition" has been interpreted to mean a chronic condition, such as asthma, diabetes, cancer, etc., not just normal illnesses. There is a phone number at the end of the document where you can call to get clarification.
