Most government services jobs must be publically posted as a matter of law. In other words, the government is perfectly within their right to temp out to whatever agency they choose; however, most of the time it is not their choice as to whether or not to review other applications for permanenet positions. This is regulated by law. cbg 12-21-2005, 06:40 AM I will also add that even in the absence of a law regarding job posting, unless you have a valid reason to believe that they wanted you out of the job because of your race, religion, national origin etc., it is not illegal. |
