Hi! I've been having some problems for three years now. My ex did not want anything to do with his son for 6 years. I left because of abuse when my son was 4. I remarried and my husband has been raising my son sonce he was 4. Then when my son was 9 years old he deceided to come back into his life because he had found a girl. I have been in court fighting since 2002, 13 times, now my son is 12 years old and does not want to see his father. The girl of my ex tries to pick him up for custody and he want go, so then his father comes and picks him up. There are alot of other problems going on and I need help! Can my son stop seeing his father and when? Can I move out of state? We have a court order that says I have primary and him visitation every other week end. I does not say anything about moving except to give new ph# and address. The order also says fathers to be in counseling with child. Father is not in counseling and will not go. I have spent already $5,000 in the past 3 years and I don't know what to do. I was also wondering my son wants to be adopted by my husband and his last name, can my son do that and when? My son has gone through mental and physical abuse for the past 3 years he came back in and the courts are seeming to do nothing. Please give me some good advice and help.
