View Full Version : im from texas and my sons mom gave me full custody.HELP!!!!

mystyal2k5 12-13-2005, 04:18 PM she gave me full custody but i dont know how to get the custody papers and stuff like that without going to court. cause it seems like going to court means that the two parties dont fully agree with whos getting custody but we both agree for me to have him. so is there a way that we can do it without the court issues? confusedinVA 12-13-2005, 04:23 PM do you have an attorney? I think you will probably have to go through the courts to get it signed by the judge. If you have an attorney he/she should be able to draft the papers, have you and mom sign, and then send to the judge. They dont even charge a retainer.(wheww) ;) If you can go through a paralegal, yes it should be relatively quick.
