i got my copy of the guardian at litem report today ( i live in IN) and in this so called investigation the guy had only talked to me my two boys and their father. he never talked toteachers liked he said he was going to. nor did he talk to any family memebers. my ex was quoted in the report as saying he only married me when he found out i was pregnant, WHICH IS SO NOT THE TRUTH> he was also quoted as saying that he is very involved in their activities in school! HAHAHA!!!! the closest he has been to being involved is when he came to pick them up from the school skate he didn't want to come in so they had toleave the skate an hoour early. mind you it only lasted two hours. we had a blast the hour we were in there, but he said to have them outside at 7 pm. he didn;t go to oopen house or help with any classroom activities, yada yada. oh man you talk about crying- i sure did. i am so upset. i really feel like he did not do what he could for my kids and i think he should have talked to outside sources other than the 4 of us. is there anything i can do?? sorry its so long. oh yeah i go to court dec.22

Just because it is in the report as a quote from your ex it doesn't mean that it was believed... it just means that is what he said. I do agree that more than likely it would have been better to have more people interviewed but I don't work in that field so I cannot tell you if the way it was done was proper or not. The only thing you can do is attempt to argue it in court next week. Judges aren't stupid, they know people in situations like this pull stuff out of their behinds.

My ex sat in front of a judge and lied saying he never told me he intended on taking my children in his two seater car from In. to Mi. She put in my order that any car they rode in they had to have their own seats with seatbelts. Did he lie about some other things and get away with it? Sure, when it came to child support, but on the important stuff he didn't.

You just have to remember that it's not over and that this report isn't all that there is.

thanks for the encouragement/ i know it isn't all there i just pray that the judge will let me say something in response.in the past when we have gone to court it has been him and/or jis lawyer talking while i sit on the sidelines. which is usually how i get screwed.:( i am going tomorrow to ask for a continuance so wish me luck!
