My wife has been forced to move in her department and swap positions with another employee that makes aprox. 20k more a year. The guy she will be working with also makes more. They all have the same amount of experience and "time served"(she has been there 2 weeks longer than both). The managment is just blowing her off about a raise to equal her new co-worker. They will be doing the exact same job, have the same experience, and time on the job. The only difference is that she is a she. Should I be worried that she is getting a raw deal?

She may be getting a raw deal, but there is nothing illegal about it UNLESS she can prove that the difference in salary is SOLELY because of her gender.
