please help i have a friend she has 2 daughter one 16 and the other is 14 they currently live with father but dont want to live with fathe cause of his health and want to live with mom but we live in florida and need to find out what the legal age is for them to choose where they can live please help me this is important to me cause i have my own coming in july thanks chris :)

The legal age for a child to decide where he/she can live is 18. However, most states will listen and take into consideration a child at the age of 12. The judge still makes the final decision. Good luck and congratulations on the new baby.
