(Ohio) My employer regularly sends me home before the end of my regularly scheduled shift, due to no fault of my own. I do not want to leave, as I need the money. Are they required to pay me for the rest of my shift?

Also, are they required to give me advance notice of scheduling or any schedule changes? I cannot wait forever to find out when I need to work.

(The cites will be greatly appreciated, so that I can bring this to my employer's attention.)

I'm assuming that you non-exempt. If you are, federal law requires that you are paid a regular hourly wage.

Your employer is only required to pay you for time worked. They can also post a schedule according to their convenience and the needs of the company.
