My husband has a brother who is a lousy father. And his ex was a lousy mother. Now social services in Ga have their two kids and are putting them up for adoption. We live in NC. We don't have alot of money and I have three kids of my own but I love being a mommy and we want these kids and we want to keep them in the family. The brother doesn't have a problem with this and I don't really think it matters if either of them do anyway since social services is putting the kids up for adoption anyway. How hard it is it to adopt from social services? What would be the process? And what do you think the chance of success would be since we already have three kids? Would that make a difference? I have a big support system with my family and I really want these kids and so does my husband. Someone please help me to have some knowledge before I call the dss so I don't sound like an idiot

You need to contact DCF in Georgia and tell them you wish to adopt the kids, and to immediately become their legal guardians. If they are up for adoption, then the brother's parental rights and hte mother's too have been terminated. So contact DCF and tell them you want to adopt the kids as they are family members, and want to know what to do to start the process of adoption and of you immediately becoming their legal guardian so they can come live with you.
