I have a few questions regarding salaried supervisors in ohio.
My employer is stationed in Indiana and I work out of Ohio.
We do not have the power to hire or fire people and we are required to do manual work when needed ( not 50% of the time usually ).
We routinely work 6 days a week, 9 hour days. When I was hired it was for a salary based off of 45 hours a week. Where can I find, or can anyone tell me, if we are eligible for comp time or overtime pay for the additional hours worked? Our employer will also schedule training during shut down periods and force us to use our vacation or come in on a different shift for this time period.
Also, my employer recently docked a fellow supervisor a few days worth of pay for time she had requested off. Is this legal in ohio as we have a contract for a certain salary per year.
